Why is meditation only the first step toward the benefits of mindfulness? with prof. Lucas Monzani

A second-order meta-analysis, conducted by a team of researchers led by prof. Lucas Monzani from Ivey Business School at Western University, revealed that the influence of mindfulness practices on employee wellbeing, relationships, growth, self-acceptance, and emotional regulation is so powerful that it is hard to find other activities that could offer results even half as effective.

Yet, in practice, we tend to underestimate the value of mindfulness and sometimes simplify it to the very first step, which can only provide limited results. If you want to know what scientists say about effective meditation, listen to this episode!
